This is the continuation of my previous post, on what you need to know about credit scores. Click below if you haven’t had chance to read the first part
All About Credit Scores – Part 1
In the previous post, I briefly introduced to you what is credit score, how does it affect you, and the factors that contribute to your credit score. In this part, I will be talking about how to apply credits while maintaining your score.
This will be a two part series on credit scores, and what you can do to maintain a high score while amassing signup bonuses.
Just a few years ago, I wondered how some people could amass so many airline miles, to allow them fly around the world every year, and in premium cabins?! Years later, I found the answer myself – credit cards and their sign up bonuses. Now those signup bonuses and miles from credit card purchases are building up majority of my points portfolio. The goal of this post is to help you build up your points portfolio without creating a huge dent to your credit score.
O.M.G. I couldn’t believe I was looking at it, Singapore First Class Suites just opened up to Aeroplan, and you can literally book it right there. Since its Singapore Airlines, you also do not pay fuel surcharge on the tickets. I haven’t spent too much time playing around to see what other available flights are there yet, but I believe this is a good start.
So what’s so special about Suites? Well, they are the first class seats on the double decker jumbo aircraft that is the A380, which is better than your typical first class. Singapore typically do not release ANY premium seats on their A380 to Star Alliance partners, so I’m not sure why they are starting to do it now.
To get a feel of what it’s like to fly in the Suite class, check out the full report by Derek Low here. So if you’ve been waiting to try the most luxurious experience in the sky, better book now, as I guarantee you these won’t last long!
Air Canada is running a promotional giveaway, chances are, you will land in one of 10%, 15%, or 20% discount codes! Playing the game is easy, all you have to do is to click the image below to Air Canada’s official site, fill in your email and a verification code, then click Submit.
You can play once per day per email account. While 20% discount is nice, do note the terms and conditions. You can only book Tango fares and get 20% off the base fare, and bookings need to be completed before the end of the year, and all travels must be completed before June 15, 2015.
There are a total of 65 pairs of economy tickets to be given out for travels to anywhere in Canada or the U.S., and one pair for business class tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies to. Good luck!
